Born and raised in WM. But haven’t been back in years. Was driving through and decided I wanted some pizza. 35 years since I have had Vesuvio’s. Walked in and the same owner was there. Couldn’t believe it. Got a couple of pepperoni slices. Took it to go. Got out to the car and demolished the first slice. Walked back in and told him “Still the best F-ing pizza”. Top quality service and great quality food. Will have to make my way back up there more often.

I have been going here my whole life the pizza is great !!!! My family is originally from queens so they know pizza and I've been all over and I have never had a better ham and cheese calzone then this there sauce is probably my number 1 highly recommend

I grew up eating Vesuvio Pizza and remembered it fondly as the best pizza in West Milford. Folks where I live now don't believe me when I say a great cheese pizza slice can be eaten cold, though of course I prefer it hot out of the oven. A death in the family brought me back to West Milford after 22 years, and I couldn't pass up an opportunity to get a few slices there. Thanks for keeping the tradition of great pizza going, Phil!

I came here every week as a kid in the 00s and always thought it was truly amazing pizza. I grew up and moved off around the country always having “the best pizza around” from Brooklyn, CT, down south, Los Angeles (a pizza haven now), abroad— great pizza but in my head nothing hit like this place once did. After 15 years I finally made it back to the area to show my wife where I grew up and HAD to stop in after seeing it was still open— to see if it held up as well as it did in my memory or if it was just childhood nostalgia. This pizza is seriously great and held up from what I had in memory. The simplicity of old school ingredients make it feel light but packs flavor— and the crust takes this pie to a new level. Light, but a strong dough AND crispy. Idk how he’s held that taste and crust consistency over such a long period of time but I think it proves this man is an artist. WM should be so lucky to have this up there.

This is my favorite pizza in North Jersey and possibly all of NJ. The dough and crust is just perfect. Highly recommend ordering a whole pepperoni pie. Haven't tried individual slices, but a fresh pie will not disappoint
